Our little school was started ten years ago as a Christian outreach program to the families of our community. From the beginning, our goal has been to offer a quality program in a Christian environment. We are a three star rated center, having passed stringent state guidelines for quality. We provide quality in the teachers that we hire as well, requiring that all of our lead teachers have degrees in early childhood education. We provide quality in the meals and snacks that we serve, following the FDA guidelines for nutrition. Most of all, we provide quality in our curriculum. We believe children learn best from meaningful, play-based experiences. We, at Grow in Grace, are committed to providing hands-on learning opportunities that cover literacy, math, science, social studies, and the arts. We have a large playground and indoor gymnasium, which provide our students with many opportunities for healthy, hearty physical activity everyday. Finally, we provide quality in our social skills instruction, approaching discipline with positive not punitive instruction. We help our students learn to solve problems and build friendships, guided by our faith in love and forgiveness. Addressing the needs of the whole child with quality and compassion - that is the mission of Grow in Grace Preschool and Kindergarten.
I love your mission statement and how you incorporated the history of the program so that customers can see how great your program is. I also liked how you mentioned social skills because some parents never realize that social skills is a part of a child's development. Great work!
