We're On A Mission!

Our little school was started ten years ago as a Christian outreach program to the families of our community.  From the beginning, our goal has been to offer a quality program in a Christian environment.  We are a three star rated center, having passed stringent state guidelines for quality.  We provide quality in the teachers that we hire as well, requiring that all of our lead teachers have degrees in early childhood education.  We provide quality in the meals and snacks that we serve, following the FDA guidelines for nutrition.  Most of all, we provide quality in our curriculum.  We believe children learn best from meaningful, play-based experiences.  We, at Grow in Grace, are committed to providing hands-on learning opportunities that cover literacy, math, science, social studies, and the arts.  We have a large playground and indoor gymnasium, which provide our students with many opportunities for healthy, hearty physical activity everyday.  Finally, we provide quality in our social skills instruction, approaching discipline with positive not punitive instruction.  We help our students learn to solve problems and build friendships, guided by our faith in love and forgiveness.  Addressing the needs of the whole child with quality and compassion - that is the mission of Grow in Grace Preschool and Kindergarten.

Spring Showing Grace Outreach
Students and their families, including siblings, are invited to our Spring Showing Grace Outreach at Master Provisions on April 30th from 9am-noon.  Sign up sheets are available outside each of your children's classrooms.  Master Provisions provides food, clothing and orphan care locally and around the world.  We will be sorting the items collected during our Lenten clothing drive in order to send them to a mission in Ghana.  Our winter visit to the Cold Spring Transitional Care facility was so successful.  Let's continue to help our students grow in grace by showing grace!

Whooping Cough Alert

Attention Parents!  This message is to alert you that Northern Kentucky Health Department has reported over a hundred documented incidents of Pertussis, also known as whooping cough, in the last several weeks, spanning all counties.  The early, cold-like symptoms of Pertussis progress to a persistent cough that won't go away and worsens with time.  As you know, Grow in Grace Preschool requires all students to be fully up to date on their vaccinations prior to enrollment, including the Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis (DTaP) vaccine.  However, according to the Heath Department, individuals can still contract a lesser form of the infection even if vaccinated. Pertussis is particularly dangerous to infants, the elderly, and persons with chronic illness.  If your child has a cough, even if it is a mild one, please keep them at home and take them to your pediatrician immediately.  Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students and their families healthy!
